With a couple missing, we still took a strong 16 man squad to Colchester and to a man everyone impressed. For the first 20 minutes there was nothing to seperate the two sides and Rebels looked comfortable and were playing the better football. Then C.P. scored from a breakaway and the Rebels heads dropped, before the Rebels could come back into the game C.P. scored there second. Some inspired words at half-time abviously worked ecause second half Rebels were a different animal, the passing and moving at times was phenomenal, thework fromt front to back was excellant, and to a man everyone played their park. Rebels came back into the game when Lawrie rammed home JT's corner, which saw the goalie flap and Rebels take advantage. Then JD scored the equaliser poking home a through ball.
All in all another good game for the Rebels, but it did show both sides of the team, which reflects what has been happening in training, if heads drop and we lose interest we will be punished and when we all play together and work for each other we can beat anyone, lets hope this season we can do much more of the latter
